Stories to tell
We'll tell you the story of Lac d'Orient, the story of Les Cottages d'Orient, the story of the Templars, the town of Troyes, the village of Mesnil-saint-Père ... and at any time during your stay we'll pass on the latest local news and events that may be of interest to you.
Tea and coffee
To get your stay off to a better start than shopping in the supermarket, you'll find all the essentials in your cottage to get you started: tea, coffee, herbal tea, biscuits, spices, detergents, soap, shower gel... and everything you need to clean the cottage before you leave.
Complimentary breakfast basket
On the first morning of your stay, a breakfast basket of local, home-made products will be discreetly placed on your terrace, for you to enjoy whenever you like.
Drive Fermier delivery
If you choose to order your organic and local produce online from the Drive fermier Aube, your fridge will be full when you arrive. Order online before Wednesday evening for collection of the basket on Friday before 6pm. https://aube.mondrivefermier.fr
Champagne offered
If you're celebrating something special, we'll treat you to champagne and a 10% discount on your meal at the contemporary Brasserie Le Belvédère, just a stone's throw from Les Cottages d'Orient.
Welcome Home office and Green desking
Specially designed to combine leisure and work, Corten Cottage and Velvet Cottage offer a living space on the ground floor and a working space upstairs. Corten and Velvet are designed with you in mind, whether you're teleworking, working, bleisure, workation or greendesking.

In each cottage, works by local and international artists are regularly exhibited and available for sale.
Moments of conviviality
A barbecue, a brazier, a tasting session... we regularly organise events, especially in summer, to share moments around the large convivial table facing Lac d'Orient.
Champagne road trips
For a stroll by car, motorbike or bike along our Champagne roads, we’ll share our personal selection of sites, visits, cellars and tastings, to be organised at your own pace and according to your diary.
Tours with or without bubbles
We’ll give you our recommendations for learning about, discovering and tasting the extraordinary variety of Champagne wines from the Aube and Marne regions, and the wines of Chablis and Sancerre, in 3 or 4 days.
Wildlife and landscape observation and photography walks
We can recommend professionals to take you to special places to satisfy your curiosity or
practise your passion.
Star gazing evenings
Fascinated by the stars, we offer you the chance to observe them freely with us at the Cottages d’Orient as soon as the sky permits, or in the Nature Park accompanied by a Park Guide (registration required), or 45 minutes away (Allibaudières) with an expert and a professional telescope (registration required).
