Champagne, history and culture

As Morgan lovers, we know we adore traveling in France… but do you know our region? One of the least populated and most peaceful in France!

So let’s explore our department of Aube 🙂 and in particular our Champagne vineyards, and why not Burgundy and Chablis as well?

The proposed event could be a 3, 4, or 5-night stay at the Cottages d’Orient for six to ten couples/cars. A different itinerary would be planned each day, offering different points of interest, primarily Champagne, wine, history, and culture.

Day 1 – Arrival at Cottages d'Orient around 4:00 PM.

Visit to the Cottages d’Orient, tea, presentation of the stay and activities.
Dinner at Le Belvédère, a contemporary brasserie located a short walk away.

Day 2 - Champagne !

Discover the Côte des Bar, the most authentic and charming region of the Champagne vineyards.
Visit Champagne houses to understand the production process.

Champagne tasting is optional during the day.

A lunch stop will be included.
Return to the Cottages d’Orient: Champagne aperitif and barbecue in the gardens.

Day 3 - Chablis, a unique territory and terroir

Visit to the Chablis and Burgundy wine regions. Free time to explore the town of Chablis.
Lunch can be arranged.
Return to the Cottages d’Orient for cocktails and the evening.

Day 4 - Troyes the Magnificent

A free day with suggested activities, including a visit to the must-see city of Troyes, a walk in the forest, a day at the beach, or a stroll around the lake.

For lunch and dinner, you’ll have a wide selection of restaurants, snack bars, and other eateries in the village or along the lake.

Day 5 - The Castle Route

Depending on your interests and the number of kilometers you wish to cover, follow one of our recommended routes or create your own to discover local history, museums, castles, and nature around the lakes.
