As part of Morgan people, we know that we enjoy very much touring in France … but do you know our area ? one of the least populated and quietest in France !
So let’s discover our department de l’Aube 🙂 in particular our champagne area, and also why not Bourgogne and Chablis.
The proposed event could be 3, 4 or 5 nights staying at Les Cottages d’Orient for six to ten couples / cars.
A different route would be planned each day, offering different points of interest, mainly Champagne, Wine, History and Culture.
Day 1 – Trip down to Les Cottages d’Orient
Arrival end of the day (from 4 .00pm)
Visit of Les Cottages d’Orient, nice cup of tea, introduction to the stay and the activities
Diner at Le Belvedere, Brasserie Contemporaine next door
Day 2 - Champagne !
Discovery of La Cote des Bar, the most authentic and delightful Champagne vineyards region.
Visiting Champagne makers to understand the process of producing Champagne with optional tasting through the day.
Lunch stop will be arranged.
Back at Les Cottages d’Orient: Champagne aperitif and evening barbecue in the gardens.
Day 3 - Chablis, un territoire et un terroir unique
Visit to Chablis and Burgundy wine regions. Free visit of the town of Chablis.
Lunch can be arranged.
Back at Les Cottages d’Orient for cocktail and evening
Day 4 - Troyes La Magnifique
Free day. We can offer many suggestions for visits, including not to be missed, the
beautiful city of Troyes (25 minute drive), maybe a walk in the forest, a day on the beach, a ride around the lake ?
For lunch and diner, choose from a number of restaurants, snacks and bars in the village
or at the lake front.
Day 5 - La route des Chateaux
According to you center of interest and the number of miles you are kean on, follow one of
our recommended routes or make up your own, discover local history, museums,
Chateaux and nature around the lakes.
Day 6 - Back to the UK
Departure before 11.00. A nice route to the ferry can be recommended.
